Dear MUN Directors, delegates and friends of ATSMUN,
We cordially invite you to the 4th ATSMUN Conference –Arsakeia Tositseia Schools Model United Nations Conference– which will be held from Thursday, 1 November 2018 to Sunday, 4 November 2018 at Arsakeia Schools in the city of Patras.
ATSMUN is a three-day simulation of the conferences and the work carried out at the United Nations. It is aimed at junior high and high school students as well as university students (age span 14-23) with a view to sensitize and awake the younger generation as far as international issues of paramount importance are concerned; giving them the chance to familiarize themselves with the world of diplomacy engaging in argumentation, negotiation and compromise.
For this year’s edition, we’ve introduced many innovative features to our conference, designating specific committees for newcomers, intermediate and advanced delegates, taking the Historical Crisis Committee to a whole new level in a dynamic and intriguing way and running one of the most accurate and challenging simulations of the International Court of Justice by the renowned Hague ICJ coordinator, Mr. Robert Stern.
