IN THE DAYS OF THE CONFERENCE
During the days of the conference buses have been arranged to pick up school delegations either from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (Athens) and transport them to the hotels and venues of the conference at an extra cost.
BY CAR
Patras is connected to Athens by road via Corinth on the 8a National Road (corresponding to the E65 and E94 European Routes. To the south, Patras is connected by road to Amalias, Pyrgos and Olympia and further to Kalamata. The construction of a new bridge linking Rion (on the Peloponnese) to Antirrion (on the Central Greek mainland) has been in operation since 2004 and carries the E55 European route, linking Patras with cities in Central Greece and Epirus including the port of Igoumenitsa.

BY BUS
There are frequent bus services from the Kifisos Central Bus Station of Athens to Patras. For more details and timetables, click here.

BY TRAIN
The train operator TrainOSE connects Patras and Athensby trains and buses (although not with a direct service due to reconstruction of the line). Buses depart from Patras train station and arrive in Kiato train station, where passengers change to the train service.
